Weston-Barlow Scores And Standings: Jan. 6

The boys basketball team may be facing an angry group on Friday when the Falcons head south to take on Notre Dame of Fairfield (7 p.m.)

While the Falcons (3-4) are coming off a 60-48 defeat to Brookfield, Notre Dame has dropped two in a row by a combined five points.

Considered the preseason favorites in the South-West Conference, the Lancers are now 4-3 as the midpoint of the season approaches.

After losing to Fairfield Warde 52-49 on a buzzer shot in the championship game of the Fairfield Prep Holiday Classic, the Lancers suffered a 65-63 setback to Immaculate on Tuesday.

Weston (5-1) looks to keep winning when it visits Masuk (7 p.m.) on Friday. The Trojans got back on the winning track Tuesday with a 74-54 victory over Oxford.

On the girls side, Barlow hosts Notre Dame and Weston welcomes Masuk in a pair of 7 p.m. games

The Falcons (5-3) have dropped two in a row, including a 53-49 loss at Brookfield on Tuesday.

The Trojans (2-5) are looking for their second straight victory after defeating Oxford 46-39 on Tuesday.
