Weston graduate and Duke University senior Tom Montelli recently was selected in the 2011 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft.
Montelli, the grandson of St. Joseph basketball coach Vito Montelli, was picked 26th overall by the Rochester Rattlers.

A longstick midfielder, Montelli has helped anchor the Blue Devil defense for the past three seasons. Last year, he finished second on the team in caused turnovers with 22 takeaways. His 35 groundballs was sixth overall on the squad.
Duke is off to a 6-2 start this season.
