The Weston football team closed out a successful season Thursday with a 29-23 victory over archrival Barlow.
Danny Rogers rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns as the Trojans rallied from an early 13-0 deficit to finish the year at 7-3, just missing the state playoffs in Class S. Weston finished ninth in the Class S rankings.

Barlow, which closed out a 3-7 campaign, jumped out to the quick lead on touchdown runs of 49 yards by Alex Lockwood and 10 yards by Jack Shaban.
Barlow gave Weston some problems with its ground attack, rushing for more than 200 yards.

However, Rogers came alive, scoring on runs of 17 and 56 yards to give the Trojans a 14-13 lead at the half.
Shaban shocked Weston by returning the second half kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown.
After Weston quarterback Tyler Hassett scored on a 32-yard run, Cal Cohane's 33-yard field goal gave the Falcons a 23-22 lead.
But Rogers answered with a 51-yard TD run still in the third quarter. The fourth period was scoreless.
