The boys basketball team hosts rival Weston on Tuesday (7 p.m.) needing to win one of its final two games to qualify for the state tournament.
The Falcons (7-11) had a chance to clinch on Friday but lost to Newtown, 63-53. If Barlow doesn't beat Weston, it will have to get its eight win against unbeaten Kolbe Cathedral next Monday.

Weston, which already has secured a postseason berth, is looking to build on Tuesday's 62-59 victory over previously unbeaten Immaculate.
That win snapped a two-game slide for the Trojans, who enter Tuesday's contest at 9-8.

On the girls side, Weston hosts Barlow at 7 p.m..
While the Falcons (12-7) are tuning up for the SWC playoffs, the Trojans (9-10) look to conclude the regular season at .500 following an 0-4 start.
Barlow has dropped its last two contests following a seven-game winning streak, including Friday's 71-51 setback to Newtown.
Weston has won its last two and is coming off Friday's 50-38 victory over Immaculate.
