  • Spearheaded the implementation of a school resource officer (SRO) in support of our children's safety and security during the school day. Recently we placed a second officer in the middle school and hope to continue this program in the remaining schools.
  • Continue to support the effective police presence in Weston to enforce safety on our roads, including our "mile of safety" on School Road.
  • Our subcommittee has reduced overtime spending significantly to ensure our taxpayer money is spent wisely and efficiently. Our overall Police Department budget is under last year.
  • Work to continue upgrading technology and equipment with our officers to assure the most effective police protection for our town. The Chief, Captain and command staff that we have hired are the best in Connecticut and are dedicated to keeping Weston a safe place to live.
  • My work as Chairman of the prestigious, Citizen of the Year award committee has allowed me to discover some of the most dedicated volunteers in Weston who are responsible for public safety.
  • I continue to be committed to working in a bi-partisan manner with the police commission and all boards in Weston for the benefit of our town.
