WESTON, CT — It has been a busy end of summer for members of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and Weston EMS.

On Tuesday, firefighters and Eversource crews were called to a utility pole fire on Rogues Ridge. Eversource technicians shut down power to the wire that was in contact with the pole, enabling firefighters from the Weston Volunteer Fire Department to extinguish the fire.

The next day, the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and Weston EMS responded to a motorcycle accident on Codfish Lane. The driver of the motorcycle was transported by ambulance to the Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
