Weston Emergency Workers Tackle Brush Fire
Weston firefighters are warning residents to remain extra vigilant as the forest fire danger level remains high for the area.
WESTON, CT — Firefighters extinguished a brush fire before it could spread to multiple nearby residences on Sunday.
The Weston Volunteer Fire Department reported receiving numerous reports of the large fire around 4:17 p.m.
First responders found a brush fire involving a wood fence in the area of 59 Lords Highway. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze before it could cause any damage to nearby homes.
