Weston Firefighters Tackle Car Blaze

First responders found a single car off the roadway that was fully engulfed in flames.

WESTON, CT — Firefighters extinguished a burning car on Old Easton Turnpike Monday night.

Police, the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and Weston EMS were notified of the blaze at 8:40 p.m.

First responders to the area of Jana Drive found a single car off the roadway that was fully engulfed in flames. The driver was able to self extricate and was evaluated by Weston EMS for non-life-threatening injuries, according to fire officials.
