Weston Firefighters Tackle Dumpster Blaze [VIDEO]

The house on Twin Walls Lane just missed catching on fire, but still sustained damage from the heat, fire officials said.

WESTON, CT — A house on Twin Walls Lane was damaged by a nearby dumpster fire, the Weston Volunteer Fire Department reported.

The firefighters responded to the fire next to a residence on Twin Walls Lane Monday evening. First responders found an active fire that was moments away from extending to the house, fire officials posted on Facebook.

The fire was quickly extinguished, but only after the house sustained damage by the heat.
