Justin Schaffer scored two touchdowns and the Weston football team used a strong defensive effort Friday to post a 30-7 road victory at Bethel.
After JD Simons kicked a field goal, the Trojans built a 16-0 halftime lead on scoring runs of 41 yards by Daniel Rogers and 13 yards by Schaffer.
In the third quarter, Schaffer added an 8-yard run before Austin Delaney ran in from 3 yards to make it 30-0.

Weston blanked Bethel until the fourth quarter, when the Wildcats (3-2) got their only points on Brandon Schmidt's 15-yard TD burst.
The Trojans, who snapped a two-game losing streak, shut down a Bethel team that surpassed 50 points in last week's wild 54-41 victory over Oxford.
