Weston Historical Society To Host Jack O'Lantern Stroll
Prizes will be awarded to the top three hand-carved pumpkins for the Oct. 24 event.

Halloween jack o’lanterns will light up the historic Coley Homestead, 104 Weston Road, on Sunday, October 24, when the Weston Historical Society presents its second annual “Jack O’Lantern Stroll,” from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top three hand-carved pumpkins.

Get in on the fun by registering to carve and donate your jack o’lantern to be put on display! Register at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d49aeaa2ea6f8c07-register . Drop off your jack o’lanern between 8:30am – 11:30am, the morning of the event – Sunday, October 24 - at the Weston Historical Society, 104 Weston Road Weston, CT. Jack o’lanterns should be carved no earlier than 72 hours before the event so that they arrive fresh and not moldy. We want them to last the event. There is no fee for registration. Please register by October 20th. As a thank-you, pumpkin carvers/donors will receive a free ticket to the “Jack O’Lantern Stroll.”
The donated jack o’lanterns will be put on display for all to see when the Coley Homestead is transformed into a celebration of autumn. Prizes will be awarded for the top three jack o’lanterns, which will be voted on by those attending the “Jack O’Lantern Stroll.” Tickets to attend the “Jack O’Lantern Stroll” are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children, the proceeds going towards operations and programs at the Weston Historical Society.

To purchase tickets ($5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children ages 3 – 17, Free for children ages 0 - 2) to the “Jack O’Lantern Stroll”, visit www.westonhistoricalsociety.org. If there is severe inclement weather, the “Jack O'Lantern Stroll” will be rescheduled for Saturday, October 30, 2021. The tickets you purchased will be honored on this date.
