Weston Man Accused Of Possessing Child Pornography: Police

The suspect was arrested following "a lengthy and detailed investigation," according to Weston police.

WESTON, CT — A Weston man was arrested by Weston police Tuesday on a warrant charging him with first-degree possession of child pornography, a Class B Felony, Weston police announced.

The department launched an investigation in April 2023 after receiving "a federal cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), through the Connecticut State Police."

"The cyber tip involved the downloading of known images of child pornography," Weston police wrote in a Facebook post. "A lengthy and detailed investigation resulted in an Arrest Warrant being issued for the arrest of Robert Hahn, of Weston, Connecticut."

Additional details of the investigation were not disclosed.

Hahn voluntarily surrendered to the Weston Police Department on Tuesday and was charged. He was released after posting bond on bail of $500,000, and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on June 26.
