Weston Open Studios Art Tour!
WestonArts is proud to announce their Fall Open Studios Art Tour on Saturday, October 14th, 2017.

Some of the finest artists in the country have called
Weston, Connecticut home. In celebration of our long heritage of
cultivating fine artists, Weston Arts is proud to announce their Fall
Open Studios Art Tour on Saturday, October 14th, 2017.
The tour begins at 10am at Town Hall where
participants can check in, purchase tickets $10/pp (children and under
12 are free) and receive a map with addresses for all of the Weston’s
fine artists’ studios. Tickets will be on sale throughout the day
(rain/shine) at the Town Hall on October 14th until 4:30PM. Bracelets
will be required for entering all studios and will be monitored by our
staff. Ticket sales will be available on site at each studio, as
needed.
Each artist has happily agreed to host visitors for
the day so that anyone can get a “behind the scenes” tour of where
creativity is born in Weston. Art will be available for purchase at each
studio, as well and 10% of the proceeds from each sale will go to
WestonArts directly. The studio tours will run from 10AM-5PM.

WestonArts 501(c) (3) was formed in June 2005 as a
volunteer organization whose mission is to raise funds to promote and
develop the arts in Weston, Connecticut. There are currently more than
100 members who donate time to support the growth of art in our
community.
The Weston School District has been the recipient of
many grants and donations from WestonArts over the years. WestonArts
has raised funds for instrument storage units, sheet music storage
units, community concerts, Weston Commission for the Arts, and several
Weston School District teacher grants. One of its proudest achievements
was the $300,000 Weston High School Auditorium Seat Campaign which was
conducted in support of the Weston High School Auditorium renovation
project.
Funds raised from this tour will go toward the five
$500 Scholarships awarded each year to graduating seniors continuing
their studies in the Arts, and to the School Art Department for much
needed Art tables.
