Weston Police Department Hires Former New Canaan Police Sergeant

Jason Kim served with the New Canaan force for a decade.

WESTON, CT — Jason Kim, a former New Canaan Police Sergeant and the high school's resource officer, recently left the New Canaan force to take a position with the Weston Police Department, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.

Kim, who was sworn in with the Weston department earlier this month, was a 10-year veteran of the New Canaan department, who Chief Leon Krolikowski said served the community well during his tenure.

The new Weston officer told the publication that he while with the New Canaan force he worked with Weston on a 2016 home invasion case, and grew to like the department. So when an opening popped up in Weston, he applied.
