Weston Ranked In Top 20 Places To Live In Connecticut

WESTON, CT — Weston was recently named the 17th best place to live in Connecticut.

School and neighborhood ranking website Niche.com graded the town the No. 17 place in the state to live for 2022, with West Hartford ranked No. 1, Southport No. 2 and Weatogue coming in third. Neighboring Easton was #29, and Redding came in at #31.

Niche creates its annual rankings using data from the U.S. Census, FBI, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and CDC, combined with millions of resident reviews. The company considers factors such as diversity, public schools, affordability, housing market, nightlife and more.

Wilton won top marks — an "A+" each — for its family-friendliness and schools. The town was ranked the No. 14 Connecticut suburb, 4th best suburb in which to raise a family, and No. 5 best places overall to raise a family in the state.

Niche scored Wilton's crime/safety and outdoor activities categories "A." The job situation scored a "B+."

The website liked Wilton's cost of living and commute, awarding each a "B-," but took issue with the town's nightlife, diversity and weather.
