There is a parking ban during winter storms. Residents are strongly encouraged to clear the fire hydrants near their homes if it gets covered by snow during a storm in case of an emergency.

Latest cancelations

Weston Public Schools

  • Due to snow, all activities on the Weston Public Schools campus are canceled Jan. 24.
  • All WPS Campus activities, including SAT testing, have been canceled for Saturday, Jan. 23.
  • Weston High School girls basketball games postponed until Jan. 31
  • Weston High School Indoor track and wrestling meets canceled
  • 8th Grade Transition Program postponed until Feb 24, at 7 p.m. at Weston High School auditorium

Weston Parks & Recreation

  • All programs are canceled for Saturday, Jan. 23

Weston Community Event Canceations

  • Metro North will suspend service at 4 p.m. Saturday
  • Danbury Fair will close early today, at 2 p.m. Department store, and restaurant hours may vary. They will resume normal operating hours 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 24.
  • Easton Public Library is closed Saturday
  • Mark Twain Library is closed Saturday
  • Weston Public ibrary is closed Saturday
  • Weston Historical Society Tequila Tasting postponed until Saturday, March 12
  • Weston Public Library lecture on “Iran 101: The Making of a Quagmire” is canceled. New date TBA.
  • Lumberyard Pub is closed Saturday
  • New Pond Farm is closed Saturday
