WESTON, CT — The first day of school in Weston is August 27. Whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark that date on your calendar. The Weston School District has released its 2019-2020 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

For each lost school day due to inclement weather, an additional school day will be added to the end of the year up until June 19, 2020. If additional school days are required, the superintendent will recommend a solution to the Board of Education that may entail holding school in the last week of June, but only after considering the merits of reducing Professional Development Days or Spring Vacation Days.
