WESTON, CT — The Weston Volunteer Fire Department held it annual awards ceremony Saturday evening, honoring its Fire Rescue and EMS division’s personnel.

The following personnel were honored and celebrated:

  • Presidents and Chiefs Award: FF Jim McGuire
  • Firefighter of the Year: Firefighter Matt Squance
  • 10 Years of Service Award: Lt. Marc Barenberg, Firefighter Rob Papay, and Firefighter Peter Stack
  • 20 Years of Service Award: Firefighter Frank Caolo and Firefighter Max Burns
  • 30 Years of Service Award: Firefighter Larry Liggett and Firefighter Bruce Ando
  • Dave Geismar Award: Lynn Pokorny
  • High School Member of the Year (EMS Division): Jr Firefighter/EMT Henry McElligot
