Weston Woman Charged with DUI in Wilton: Police
Norwalk police tipped off the Wilton PD about a car being driven erratically crossing the town line.

WESTON, CT -- Police charged a local woman with driving under the influence in Wilton last week.
On Thursday, July 26, the Norwalk Police Department contacted the Wilton PD with a report about a car being driven erratically northward into Wilton.
Police stopped the car near Dudley Road. The driver, Lisa M. Ferrer, 39, of 32 Cannondale Road in Weston, informed officers that she was coming from the Darien train station and had had only two drinks, according to the police report.

The officers had Ferrer take a field sobriety test, and discovered she had a blood alcohol count of 0.375.
Ferrer was transported to police headquarters in Wilton, where she was charged with drinking while driving, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Ferrer was released on a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on August 6.
