Weston Youth Trojans Competitive Cheerleading Squad Wins First Place

Weston Youth Trojans Competitive Cheerleading Squad won first place at the American Youth Cheerleading Connecticut State Championship Competition in New Haven on Saturday.

This is the Trojans’ second win of the season. They placed first two weeks ago in Waterbury at the AYC local competition. This win automatically qualified them to go to the AYC regional competition in Amherst, Mass. on Nov. 22 where they hope to qualify for the National Competition held in Orlando Florida in December.

This Squad won the National AYC Championship in Florida in 2014.
