WestonArts Highlights local artist Ellen Schiffman

Ellen Schiffman has been a professional artist for close to 25 years, showing her work at shows and galleries nationwide. A Weston resident and highlighted on the WestonArts annual Open Studio Tour she has showcased a variety of techniques in her pieces including stitching, weaving, basketry, quilting and felting along with many techniques that she has developed herself over the years. She is intrigued with unconventional materials with unconventional materials and in her studio you will see pieces created with Q tips, ace bandages, items from the hardware store and more.
