Weston's Cobb's Mill Inn Temporarily Closed

The move follows the death of owner Drew Friedman.

WESTON, CT - Following Saturday's death of owner and area developer Drew Friedman, the Cobb's Mill Inn in Weston has closed until further notice.

The following message was posted on the restaurant's website:

The Cobbs Mill Inn is temporarily closed due to the passing of owner Drew Friedman. Plans are in motion to re-open Weston’s beloved landmark. If you have an event scheduled in the next few weeks, please contact John at 203 227 7221. Each event will be handled individually and solutions will be found.We have always been committed to being there for the community and our commitment will not change.

Customers who had lunch or dinner reservations at the Cobb's Mill can move that reservation to the Stonehenge Inn & Restaurant in Ridgefield and receive a 10 percent discount, according to organizers. The offer does not include tax or tip.

"Stonehenge Restaurant, currently on winter hours, is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m."
