Winterset Ski Club announces start of new membership season

Winterset Ski Club based in Newtown, CT is now accepting membership renewals and new members for the 2016/17 ski and snowboard season. If you love to ski or snowboard, or think you’d like to try, please read on for more information.

Winterset is a 47 year-old club, organized to promote skiing, downhill and cross-country, plus snowboarding. Throughout the year a number of activities and social events are held to encourage member skiing and camaraderie. During the ski season the club offers a number of day bus trips and a week long trip (this year’s trip is to Whistler-Blackcomb in British Columbia). In addition Winterset purchases lift tickets as a group, reducing the lift ticket price and as part of the Connecticut Ski Council is able to take advantage of Awareness Days where lift tickets are as low as $35.

Winterset invites the public to its tag sale on Sunday, September 18th from 12-3PM at Treadwell Park in Newtown, CT.
