Writing workshop for Teens & Tweens (Gr. 5+) @ Easton Public Library

The workshop will be held on four Wednesdays in July – July 8, 15, 22, and 29 – at 2:00 p.m. in the Library Conference Room.

The workshops will be led by Easton resident, Adrianna Robertson. Ms. Robertson will be completing her MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) at Sarah Lawrence College in December and holds an MA in English from Fordham University. Adrianna taught English and Writing in private school for seven years and more recently, has been teaching SAT Prep at Mercy High School in Middletown, CT. In addition, she will be interning as an assistant-teacher at Purchase College this fall.

“Because writing and teaching are two such intense passions of mine, I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to facilitate this writing workshop at the library,” says Ms. Robertson. “I am especially excited to work with young people and explore their writing—which connects closely to my most important goal for the workshop. It will provide young writers with the chance to work closely on their writing, share it and get feedback in a fun and supportive environment.”

Registration is required and can be done online through the Library’s Online Calendar at www.eastonlibrary.org; by emailing Kymberlee Powe at kympowe@eastonlibrary.org or Lynn Zaffino at lzaffino@eastonlibrary.org; or by calling the Library at 203-261-0134.
