$1 Million Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Westport

A Milford resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

WESTPORT, CT — An unnamed Milford resident is $1 million richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Westport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, a winning "$1,000,000 Extreme Cash" ticket was claimed, which had been bought at the Wheels gas station at 786 Post Road East.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in September 2022, and as of Friday, two grand prizes of $1 million remained unclaimed.

More than 3.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.93.
