13th Annual Great Duck Race In Westport Is Set For Saturday

WESTPORT, CT — The 13th annual Great Duck Race in Westport is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday on Jesup Green and the Taylor Lot.

Organized by the Westport Sunrise Rotary, the event will feature a giant sluice on the Green, in addition to food trucks and family friendly activities.

The Westport Police Department said the Taylor Lot will be closed on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the event, and motorists should expect increased pedestrian traffic as well as traffic delays in the downtown area throughout the morning and afternoon.

Attendees are reminded to use the marked crosswalks in the area.
