2 Injured In 1-Vehicle Rollover Crash In Westport: Police
The crash occurred Thursday night at the intersection of the Post Road East and the Sherwood Island Connector, according to authorities.
WESTPORT, CT — Two people were injured — one seriously — in a one-vehicle crash in Westport Thursday night, according to police.
The crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of the Sherwood Island Connector and Post Rd East.
"Arriving officers found a single car, roll-over type crash, and discovered that the operator had been ejected from the vehicle," police said. "The operator was transported to Norwalk Hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the passenger was transported with minor injuries."

The Westport Police Accident Investigation team, with assistance from the Fairfield Police Accident Investigation team, are investigating the crash.
As a result of the crash, the Sherwood Island Connector was temporarily closed Thursday night between the Post Rd East and Greens Farms Road, but it has since been reopened.
