2 Injured In Westport Crash That Required Extrication: Fire Officials
The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on the Post Road East, according to authorities.
WESTPORT, CT — A two-vehicle crash involving a car and beverage truck Tuesday in Westport left two people injured, and firefighters having to extricate a person from one of the vehicles, according to fire officials.
The crash occurred at about noon in the 1600 block of the Post Road East. See below.
In addition to the damaged two vehicles, a utility pole was also snapped by the crash, which caused a power outage in the immediate area. Eversource crews were called to the scene to restore power and fix the pole.
