2023 will be a season of Joy at the Playhouse

Get ready for a season of joy! In 2023, we’ve decided to lift up everything we love about theater. Why, through thick and thin, we keep returning to theater to form a community, to connect to our past, and to imagine a future that is better. We’ve already selected four of our five shows for next season — and all are sure to bring you joy in 2023!
Mark you calendars, gather your friends, season ticket packages will be on sale in October 2022. Single tickets will be on sale beginning in Spring 2023.

Apr 11 – 29, 2023

The music of legendary jazz great Fats Waller will have us toe-tapping our way into another season. This exciting new vision by director-choreographer Jeffrey L. Page was a 2022 Critic’s Pick in The New York Times.

May 30 – Jun 17, 2023

What is it about a murder mystery? This classic thriller has been brilliantly adapted by playwright Jeffrey Hatcher, who has created even more surprises and diabolic twists than the celebrated Hitchcock film!

July 11 – 29, 2023

Aug 29 – Sep 16, 2023

It takes a strong woman to defy tyranny. And, what is ancient is new again, in this translation and adaptation by Kenneth Cavander that ties the past to our present.

Oct 24 – Nov 11, 2023

Get to know Paulina, the ‘Queen Bee’ of Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.This funny, absorbing, gossip girl-inspired play highlights the friendships we all cherish throughout our lives.

The curtain time for all Wednesday and Thursday evening performances has moved from 8PM to 7PM. (LGBT Night Out will now begin at 6PM).
