$50,000 Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Westport
An Old Saybrook resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
WESTPORT, CT — An unnamed resident of Old Saybrook is $50,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Westport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, the person claimed a winning $1,000,000 Extreme Cash ticket that had been bought at the Cumberland Farms at 1830 Post Road East.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in September 2022, and as of Wednesday, all three grand prizes of $1 million remained unclaimed.
Additionally, nine second-place prizes of $300,000 were unclaimed, and 19 $50,000 third-place prizes were still available.

More than 3.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.93.
