The proposed Glendinning Village is slated to hold multiple houses and office space.

WESTPORT, CT — A development partnership is looking to turn the former Westport site of hedge fund giant Bridgewater Associates into a new complex with affordable housing and office space, the Westport News reported.
According to the publication, the proposal at 1 Glendinning Place calls for 10 homes on the property, two of which will contain a total of 12 affordable studio apartments for disabled adults.
The main office building on the property will remain; half of which has been leased, and the developers are looking to lease the other half.

Called Glendinning Village, the proposal still must go before the Planning and Zoning Commission for approval.
Last year, the developers — David Waldman, president of David Adam Realty, and Eric O'Brien, managing director of Urbane Capital LLC and a senior vice president at Sachem Capital — proposed more homes, but recently scaled it back.
