After 42 Years, Lee Papageorge to Close Oscar's Deli in Westport

WESTPORT, CT — Oscar's Deli, a staple of Main Street in Westport for decades, is closing on Monday, Aug. 1, as owner Lee Papageorge battles lung cancer.

Papageorge has owned the business for 42 years, but deli has been in that spot on Main Street since 1948, according to town officials.

On Sunday, July 31, customers and residents are invited to stop by the popular restaurant one last time to share memories and say goodbye.
