Amanda Trianovich Promoted To Land Use Planner In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — Planning and Zoning Director Mary Young announced on July 6, 2022, the Planning and Zoning Department promoted Amanda Trianovich to serve as the new land use Planner for the Town of Westport.

Ms. Trianovich graduated with honors from Salve Regina University, with her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, and next gained her customer service skills working for Marriott where she was recognized as Associate of the Year.

Ms. Trianovich joined the Westport Planning and Zoning Department in August of 2019 and within one-year promoted to the Zoning Official position. The Zoning Official is responsible for processing Zoning Permits, Variance Requests, and Zoning Complaints. Now, one year later she has been promoted to the Planner position. The Planner is responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to acting as the Town’s Coordinator for Coastal Area Management (CAM) projects, preparing analyses of pending land use applications for consideration by the Planning and Zoning Commission, and facilitating the implementation of the 2022-2027 Westport Affordable Housing Plan adopted last month available to view here, as well as the 10-year, 2017 Westport Plan of Conservation and Development available to view here.
