WESTPORT, CT — Westport officials are reviewing a proposed concession agreement for food and beverage operations at Compo Beach and Longshore Club Park ahead of Memorial Day weekend and the 2026 summer season.
The process began with a public request for proposals, followed by a review of submissions, site visits, interviews and lease negotiations, according to officials. Under the town charter and other procedures, the proposed agreement is now scheduled for review during a series of public meetings involving several elected bodies.
Officials encouraged residents to participate in the process by attending meetings or submitting comments.
The Westport Board of Finance is scheduled to hold a special meeting at 8 p.m. Monday via Zoom. Under the town charter, the board recommends leases involving town-owned real property. Public comments may be submitted by email to
The Westport Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet on May 13, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The commission reviews lease proposals for consistency with planning and zoning considerations. Written comments submitted by noon on the day of the meeting will be distributed to commission members for consideration, according to the town.
