These Are The Road Closures Planned For Westport's Memorial Day Parade

WESTPORT, CT — Westport police have announced the planned road closures for Monday's Memorial Day Parade.

The following roads will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Monday:

• Riverside Avenue between Treadwell Avenue and Post Road
• Post Road between Sylvan Road and Compo Road North
• Wilton Road between Kings Highway North and Post Road
• Myrtle Avenue between Post Road East and Myrtle Avenue

"Motorists should expect significant delays and should avoid the area during the time of the parade," wrote Lt. Howard Simpson in a statement. "Once the roads are re-opened, motorists are reminded to use caution while traveling through downtown Westport as there will be significant pedestrian traffic."
