Westport Transfer Station To Close Early 3 Days Next Week

The transfer station is located at 300 Sherwood Island Connector in Westport.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Transfer Station will close early on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 8-10, for paving, Director of Public Works Peter Ratkiewich announced.

On those days, the station, located at 300 Sherwood Island Connector, will close at 2 p.m. instead of the usual 2:30 p.m.

"Those planning to use the transfer station should arrive before 2:00 p.m. on those days," Ratkiewich said in a statement. "Thank you for your cooperation."
