WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to preliminarily review plans for a proposed mixed-use residential development at 606 Riverside Ave. during a special remote meeting Monday evening.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. on July 13 and will be held remotely (see information below).
The primary agenda item is a pre-application discussion for a proposed development at 606 Riverside Ave. The application, submitted by attorney Adam J. Blank, seeks feedback from the commission on a proposal that includes 165 residential units, with 10 percent of the homes deed-restricted as affordable housing, along with a complementary mixed-use component and 283 parking spaces.
The pre-application is scheduled for a 20-minute discussion. According to the agenda, the session is intended to provide preliminary feedback from the commission. Members of the public may observe the discussion but will not be permitted to participate.
During the meeting's work session, the commission is also expected to discuss and vote on old business involving a potential amendment to Section 24C of the town's zoning regulations, which governs the General Business District/Saugatuck Marina (GBD/SM).
