WESTPORT, CT — An unnamed Westport resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Wednesday, the person claimed a winning PLAY4 ticket that was bought at Westport Cigar & Vape on the Post Road East.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.
The game, which costs up to $5 per wager, offers prizes of $14 to $25,000.
Overall odds of winning the $25,000 jackpot are 1 in 10,000.
