WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Historic District Commission is scheduled to consider whether to oppose demolition permits for seven properties and seek the maximum 180-day delay during an electronic public meeting on Aug. 11.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held electronically. The agenda does not include a public comment period. Click here to view the agenda.
Commission members may take action on requests to oppose demolition permits for properties at 31 Richmondville Ave., 11 Hales St., 15 Jennie Lane, 20 Pin Oak Court, 4 Pin Oak Court and 32 Morningside Drive North. In each case, the commission is scheduled to consider requiring the full 180-day demolition delay allowed under its authority.
The commission also is scheduled to consider rescinding two earlier actions opposing demolition permits. Those agenda items involve properties at 422 Riverside Ave. and 190 North Ave., where motions opposing the permits were adopted during the commission's July 14 meeting.
In addition to the demolition-related items, the commission is expected to approve minutes from its July 14 public meeting and July 27 special public meeting.
The agenda also includes an update from the commission chairman before adjournment.
