WESTPORT, CT — Westport firefighters are often called upon to do a lot of unique things, but this call may have been a first.
Members of the department's Engine Company 6 this week removed a potty training seat from a child's head. See the photo below.
"Using minimally invasive techniques, firefighters safely removed the child without injury," officials wrote on Facebook.
Westport firefighters "train continuously on victim removal from all sorts of entrapments," which apparently includes toilet seat removals.
"Thankfully, the little one was all smiles once the ordeal was over," officials wrote.
