WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Representative Town Meeting is scheduled to consider approval of a three-year collective bargaining agreement between the town and its firefighters union during a special meeting on Aug. 12.
The meeting is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held electronically, with no physical meeting location. Click here to view the agenda.
According to the meeting notice, RTM members may take action on a collective bargaining agreement between the Town of Westport and Local #1081 of the International Association of Firefighters, AFL-CIO.
The proposed contract retroactively covers the period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The agenda identifies the proposed labor agreement as the meeting's sole item of business and states that the RTM may take whatever action it determines regarding approval of the tentative agreement.
