WESTPORT, CT — Allium Eatery announced it is moving to a new location in downtown Westport.
"After months of searching, dreaming and negotiating, we're absolutely delighted to share that we've found our new forever home," owner Michelle Greenfield and sous chef Norah Harrington wrote on Facebook. "We're thrilled to be moving Allium to Bedford Square at 34 Elm Street in Westport."
Allium, which is temporarily closed as it prepares to move, opened on Railroad Place in Westport in 2021.
It has become one of Westport's most popular dining spots since opening, and has competed for James Beard awards.
The new location on Elm Street previously housed Gogi Korean Steakhouse & Sushi, which closed and moved to Shelton earlier this year.
The new Allium location will focus on what it does best, Greenfield and Harrington said, "welcoming hospitality, locally sourced ingredients, signature dishes and libations, and, of course, always something new."
An exact reopening date was not disclosed.
"We can't wait to welcome you into our new home," the two said. "Stay tuned for more as the next chapter of Allium takes shape."
