
This just in ... at tomorrow's (Sat Jan 28th) 4pm screening of the acclaimed documentary "Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey", the special guest will be Pam Arciero, long time Muppeteer and artistic director of the O'Neill Puppetry Conference held each June in Waterford, CT., The film will be followed by a discussion. Pam Arciero is a puppeteer and voice-over artist who is best known in the Muppet world for her role on Sesame Street as Oscar the Grouch's girlfriend, Grundgetta. She earned her Master's in Puppetry from the University of Connecticut.
Tickets are still available for the screening which will be at 4PM Sat Jan 28th at Christ and Holy Trinity Church, 75 Church Ln in Westport. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online at http://westportcinema.org.
About "Being Elmo" -- Beloved by children of all ages around the world, Elmo is an international icon. Few people know his creator, Kevin Clash, who dreamed of working with his idol, master puppeteer Jim Henson.
