Apartments, Townhomes Slated For Historic Westport Property: Report
The 1-acre property is on the Post Road West.
WESTPORT, CT — The historic property at 50 Post Road West in Westport is slated to be converted into an apartment building, with four townhomes added on the property, CT Insider reported.
Built in the mid-1800s by Capt. Frederick Sherwood, the home rests on a 1-acre lot, just up the hill from downtown Westport.
The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the application last month. Plans call for the vacant building to hold 13 apartments, with an additional four townhomes.
