Back To School: Westport Public Schools 2022-23 School Calendar

WESTPORT, CT — With summer winding down, thoughts turn to the new school, as families begin to prepare for the academic, sports and social activities that lie ahead.

An essential element of that is school calendars to help parents prepare for the first day in Westport Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Westport is Tuesday, Aug. 30.

Here is a list of other important dates to remember for the 2022-23 school year:

Westport Public Schools

• First Day: Tuesday, Aug. 30
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25 (early dismissal for students and staff Nov. 23), no school
• Winter Break: Dec. 26-Jan. 2, no school
• Long Weekend: Feb. 20-24 (President's Day Feb. 20), no school
• Spring Break: April 7-14, no school
• Last Day: June 14 (early dismissal)*

*June 14 is the planned last day of school. Depending on the number of snow days during the school year, that date could change.
