“BEAU MONDE” ANTIQUE SHOW TO DEBUT OCTOBER 26TH AND 27TH, 2013

The Westport, Connecticut, “Beau Monde” Antiques show, featuring thirty select exhibitors from several states will premiere at the stately Westport Inn on Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 27th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Located in Westport at 1595 Post Road East (U.S. 1) only 1½ miles from Interstate 95, the “Beau Monde” will offer fine and Decorative arts and antiques of the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries handsomely displayed in room setting booths by a distinguished roster of dealers including:  George Subkoff, Tucker Frey, C.M.  Leonard, Shaia Oriental Rugs of Williamsburg, VA, Robert Walin, Hanes & Ruskin, Saje Americana Antiques, Zane Moss, J. Gallagher, Ed Weissman, Paul and Karen M. Wendhiser, Blue Heron Fine Art, Fritsz Rohn, Vintage Poster Art, Leonce Joseph Chung, and Donna Kmetz..

Choice examples of American, English and Continental furniture, silver paintings, oriental rugs, rare books, estate jewelry, porcelains, bronzes, brass, fireplace equipment, Americana, glass, photographs, prints, maps, Asian arts and furniture will grace Saugatuck Room and Ballroom of the Wesport Inn.

“The natural light afforded by the Ballroom’s glass ceiling allows the displays to be properly evaluated in terms of surface form and color, while “diversity, quality and value will define this upscale event reflecting the chic, verve, and cachet of Westport,” observed show promoter Jay St. Mark.

Appraisals will be available both days from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at a cost of $10 per item (no firearms permitted).

Show admission is $10 ($9 with card or ad) with children under 12 free, as is parking.  A full bar, hors d’oeuvres and restaurant will be available throughout the show.
