Best Field Hockey Teams For 2019 Ranked By Coaches

A panel of coaches voted on the best high school field hockey teams in Connecticut for the 2019 season.

After winning the Class L field hockey championship for the fourth straight season, Staples High School finished atop the year-end coaches poll - but it wasn't a runaway.

The Wreckers collected five of eight first-place votes to lead the final balloting. Guilford, which won the Class M crown for the second consecutive year, collected the other three top votes to place second.

Here are the top 10, plus all other teams receiving votes.
