Boston Marathon 2018: How Westport Runners Fared

BOSTON, MA — Nearly 30,000 official entrants braved the elements and packed the starting line in Hopkinton, Mass. on Monday to compete in the Boston Marathon, the world's oldest annual marathon. They anticipated the challenge of completing the 26.2 mile course, including the dreaded "Heartbreak Hill" between the 20- and 21-mile marks, near Boston College.

They came from 94 countries and all 50 states, with hundreds of Connecticut residents participating.

In Westport, David Gordon, 37, finished 23rd among Connecticut residents and 1,337th overall. His time was 2:57:18.

Krister Holm, 51, finished 43rd among Connecticut residents and 2,771st overall. His time was 3:06:32.

Sacha Bacro, 46, finished 100th among Connecticut residents and 6,906th overall. His time was 3:26:20.

Kc Klegar, 48, finished 133rd among Connecticut residents and 8,925th overall. His time was 3:33:26.

Lorraine Watkins, 46, finished 139th among Connecticut residents and 9,387th overall. Her time was 3:35:05.

Heather Bauer, 40, finished 163rd among Connecticut residents and 10,980th overall. Her time was 3:40:46.

Amy Orenstein, 46, finished 190th among Connecticut residents and 13,332nd overall. Her time was 3:49:50.

Alan Martin, 49, finished 200th among Connecticut residents and 13,920nd overall. His time was 3:51:54.

Jonathan Cafasso, 35, finished 247th among Connecticut residents and 16,964th overall. His time was 4:05:54.

Dana Martin, 61, finished 315th among Connecticut residents and 22,453rd overall. Her time was 4:53:10.

Grace Hennemuth, 22, finished 337th among Connecticut residents and 24,156 overall. Her time was 5:22:55.
