Get ready for an uplifting afternoon of live jazz, poetry, & prayer as The United Methodist Church of Westport & Weston (“UMC-WW”) located at 49 Weston Road, Westport, CT proudly presents Malin Carta, jazz saxophonist group (including Matthew Munzer, John Hoddinott, Connor Brennan) on Sunday, September 21 at 4pm. Vespers is an ancient prayer rite, meant to give thanks for the day just past, and bring one closer to God as nightfall comes.
Our services feature talented jazz musicians in the tri-state area. The groups play standards, originals, spirituals, and hymn arrangements. A free will offering supports the mission and ministry of UMC-WW. To learn more, visit WestportUMC.org.
