Classes Canceled Tuesday At Westport Public Schools

WESTPORT, CT — Westport Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 28, due to inclement weather expected to sweep through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.

The district made the announcement in a message on the district's telephone line at 203-341-1SNO (1766). District offices will also be closed, and all after school activities are also canceled.

A Board of Education meeting scheduled for Tuesday night will be held via Zoom and not in-person, according to officials.

Additionally, Greens Farms Academy will also be closed.

"Due to the forecasted snow and the potential for unsafe driving conditions, Greens Farms Academy will be closed Tuesday, February 28," GFA officials wrote on the school's website. "All afternoon and evening activities have been canceled."
